Happy Days Childrens Learning Center

F.A.Q.s

Do you have a curriculum?

We have a monthly theme that is school-wide. Teachers plan their classroom activities and lessons according to the current theme and based on an age-appropriate level for their class.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes, from Toddlers and up to Preschoolers, We will provide a morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. For children in the infant program, all meals, snacks, and beverages are provided by parents and brought from home on a daily basis.

What does your menu consist of?

Our bi-weekly menu consists of meals that are all nut-free, trans-fat-free and vegetarian. We also strive to use as many organic foods as possible in our meals.

What do we need to bring from home?

For children who are still in diapers, parents provide diapers (and any necessary diaper cream) on a daily basis for their child. (It is ok to leave a supply of diapers in your child’s cubby at school as long as it gets replenished before s/he runs out). We will provide wipes for diaper changing.

Parents also need to bring a change of clothes for their child suitable for the “current” weather conditions as well as the fluctuating Santa Cruz weather. Note: for infants, at least two complete outfit changes are recommended. Also, sunscreen must be brought from home and clearly labeled with your child’s first and last name.

For children in the infant program, all meals, snacks, and beverages are to be provided by the parents and brought from home on a daily basis. All bottles, cups, and food containers should be clearly labeled with your child’s first and last name and the date.
